Learn to create works of art from pencil-and-paper phase to animation with code! This session will focus on the process of animating a character in the Scratch programming language. Participants will learn how to create basic characters in Google Drawings, transfer those drawings into Scratch, then animate the characters with block-based programming! Creating Art with Code can be applied across any curriculum (not just the arts) and no special art skills are required or expected to attend this session. Higher level programming languages will also be discussed for those in search of a greater challenge!
