Storytelling in Spanish with ScratchJr and Scratch (Repeat) (CS, ELA)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
We invite all Spanish Bilingual K5 teachers to join us for a fun and creative session where we will use ScratchJr and Scratch IN SPANISH to allow our students to tell their stories through engaging coding projects. In this session, we will give a brief overview of both coding programs before splitting off into two groups: K2 teachers are invited to learn about ScratchJr and "3-5" teachers will dive into Scratch. Teachers will leave with more coding confidence and even a sample project to spark your students’ coding curiosity. These projects can easily be tailored to address a variety of student interests and curriculum demands, including integration into ELD classes! Both programs’ interfaces can be translated into Spanish so that newcomers can easily access the program, too. ¡Vengan a aprender con nosotros cómo programar en español! ¡No se pierdan esta increíble oportunidad! Session and materials will be presented in English and teachers will have the option of creating projects in either English or Spanish.
