So many of our young students have not had opportunities to explore the world beyond their own schools and neighborhoods. As our youngest scholars become creators and participants in a larger learning community, it's important that they have an awareness of the world around them! Let's take a look at how to build geo awareness and global citizenship in our little learners, including in the digital world! In this session, we'll explore resources and best practices for bringing the foundations of global awareness, global learning, and digital citizenship into our daily lessons. Highlighted tools will included Google MyMaps, Google Cardboard, and Google Hangouts.
